MILWAUKEE, Wis. — As part of its continued effort to establish the city of Milwaukee as a “World Water Hub” for research, education and economic development, the Milwaukee Water Council will host its fifth annual Water Summit conference on Sept. 19-20 at the Discovery World/Pier Wisconsin complex, according to a press release.
Milwaukee’s Water Summit is one of the leading national platforms for the discussion of water technology and sustainable water solutions.
In addition to keynote speakers, the conference will offer breakout sessions examining problem-solving and conflict resolution in three distinct tracks: “The Global Water/Energy Nexus,” “Urban Watersheds: Striking the Balance” and “Making Urban Agriculture Work.”
